It’s been a while since we last said anything. I’m still working on our Florida footage from the Summer, when Florida had opened back up, and we were both out of quarantine. Otherwise, travel has come a halt for the most part.
Other things have happened in our lives as well. Our youngest had her first child, and it’s been about 10 years since the last grand baby was born, so we have been celebrating that. Money is tight from a few unforeseen expenses, so that has also put a damper on travel. Not to mention, it’s the Christmas season, and we have lots of family members that have birthdays between September and December. I like to call it our “expensive season.”
In the meantime, Mary has had a decent business between her new Plexus, and 31 Bags businesses, and her Avon that continues to go strong. The weather is always present, so my job continues.
So to get to the point of the post, Mary came to me the other day and talked about a podcast that she would like to do interviewing interesting people. I don’t want to get into too many specifics, to give it away yet. We need to do some research on this. I’m thinking that we can do both audio and video for this. The tools I have, for both sound and video, are sufficient for us to pull it off. I was just going through my gear, and realized, that I have the pieces to hook up our phone to my mixer, for doing long distance interviews. We would just need to get another microphone and set of headphones to get the rest of our stuff together.
Due to our schedules, we may only get these out a month at a time, although I would shoot for every two weeks, with an eye on one a week if we get into a groove and line up guests. One thing at a time.
Anyway, that’s about it for now.
